Convergence Neighborhoods Group 3-5 from Columbia College TEAM on Vimeo.

PS- This one has audio too, which was lost in translation. A lovely instrumental guitar melody-- great accompaniment!

  2. 1) People I know are in the pictures!; trash; music; food; grown ups throwing things away/kids recycling
    2) You own original images—especially the Dunkin Donuts Desk—I love making art out of trash, so that is right up my alley and connects me to the message of reduce reuse recycle; “Is there a difference? What is the difference?” Almost like you’re holding a mirror up to the attitude of, “Eh, what’s the difference!” Nice.
    3) No new knowledge, but if I weren’t familiar with recycling, this would help me learn “What’s the difference”
    4) Recycle! It’s so easy!
    5) I love that you guys had the chance to play around with different looks within this piece: transitions, animation, text color and font, etc—but it started to distract me form your powerful message, since each one was different. I wanted you to choose one or two and use them strategically. See my comments on the Gillespie team’s video too, about powerpoint—it seems so simple, but it’ll break your heart in the end.
    6) Math/Science/Social studies: Waste Audit of school, present figures both in terms of carbon and in terms of money! Actually do the math and illustrate that in a creative way.

  3. Well thought out for the amount of time that was taken to create this. A couple of pictures needed to be explained or maybe the message got confusing because at the beginning it showed pictures that showed things bad about waste then immediately switched to recycling. Maybe a longer mid-section to lead to the recycling section would help.
